This article discusses homesickness, which is a feeling of nostalgia that can cause sadness and unease. I have created a digital collage inspired by Skawennati's series TimeTraveller, with an audio component that encapsulates sounds I’ve gathered from back home in Jordan. The project aims to provide viewers with a visual and auditory representation of the emotions associated with homesickness. The six-series digital collage transcends cultural senses, using a combination of digital images and soundscapes to create an immersive environment that transports viewers into a different space and time. The viewers can reflect on their own experiences with homesickness and shared cultural identity through a projector and headphones. Various digital softwares and techniques were used to create a work that is aesthetically pleasing, emotionally engaging, and thought-provoking.
