RED
Manhua Zhu
This work explains the significance of red in Chinese culture and how it was incomprehensible for the author as a child. Through animation, the author depicts a story of a stubborn girl who learns to appreciate the importance of red and adopts her family's traditions. The story highlights personal growth and a shift in thinking. And how being open to new experiences allowed the author to accept the richness and diversity of China's cultural heritage as a child.
Chinese traditions and festivals have corresponding historical stories, and culture and history are inherited in one line. Therefore, I hope the audience can understand and be curious about Chinese culture through this animation.
