V.A.L.

Everyday we respond and interact with waves in different forms. We created V.A.L. to keep us in tune with these signals. This experience strives to promote artistic expression for its user, who may be in need of guidance. Exhibiting this creative process can be deceivingly unflattering to the general population. However, with the right instruments and conditions, musical expression is more attainable than one could imagine.

 

All it takes is your two hands, that’s it. The installation utilizes two sensors that detect the viewer's hand movement to modulate both audio and visual effects,

essentially acting as a visual and sonic extension to your body. V.A.L. bridges analog and digital technology to create a novel, unconventional form of expression.
