i’m okay
Erica Wu
At the young age of 20, I was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin’s lymphoma (lymph node cancer) while away from friends and my sister, forced to live in an unfamiliar country with my hateful grandmother and bickering parents. From constant hospital visits to agonizing anxiety attacks to hitting the lowest I’ve ever felt in my life, my parents somehow still made their issues more pressing than mine. This is a very emotional topic but I find it more important to share my experience in hopes of educating people about how tough it was. I hope you find some resonance in this.
